1. Introduction & Agreement
Welcome to the official website of Naam Mithra Foundation ("the Trust", "we", "us", or "our"). Naam Mithra Foundation is an irrevocable public charitable trust registered in Tamil Nadu and headquartered in Chennai, India.
By accessing or using our website, submitting donation pledges, or applying for academic initiatives, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
2. Nature of the Trust & Non-Profit Commitment
Naam Mithra Foundation operates on a strictly non-profit basis in accordance with Clauses 3(v) and 5(20) of our registered Trust Deed. All contributions, endowments, and income received are applied solely towards public charitable causes—specifically education, skill development, civil services mentorship, scientific temper, and community welfare.
No portion of the Trust's funds or income is paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividend, bonus, profit, or honorarium to Trustees or private members.
3. Voluntary Contributions & Donations
All financial contributions, sponsorships, and grants made to Naam Mithra Foundation are voluntary gifts made to advance the charitable objectives of the Trust:
- Tax Compliance: Donors requesting formal receipts are required to furnish accurate personal and Permanent Account Number (PAN) details in compliance with Indian income tax statutory requirements.
- Direct Utilization: Donations are allocated toward educational grants, vocational kits, competitive exam materials, and emergency relief. Contributions cannot be reclaimed once deployed for beneficiary support.
- Refund & Cancellation Policy: As contributions are charitable gifts directly channeled to public welfare, donations are generally non-refundable. However, in cases of inadvertent duplicate transactions or processing errors, donors may submit a written request within 7 business days with proof of transaction for administrative review by the Board of Trustees.
4. Scholarship & Program Beneficiary Disclaimers
The Trust renders financial, academic, and vocational assistance to deserving individuals without discrimination of caste, creed, religion, or gender (Clauses 3c and 22). However:
- Submission of an inquiry or scholarship request form does not guarantee financial disbursement or admission into any coaching cell or program.
- The selection and sponsorship of students are subject to merit verification, need assessments, background diligence, and availability of trust funds.
- The decisions of the Board of Trustees regarding beneficiary awards, grants, and mentorship opportunities are final and binding.
